Qualified Accountant
We are an accounting practice in Greyville, looking for a Qualified Accountant, who has an active Certification with SAIPA/SAICA and/or any other Accredited Accounting Body.
Responsibilities:

Oversee and completion of clients' monthly write-up and VAT submission.
Preparation of working paper files and annual financial statements.
Set and maintain budgets for the completion of tasks.
Maintenance of accounting policies.
Engagement with clients.
Problem analysis and resolution.
Reporting to the Principal Accountant.

Minimum Requirements:

B-Com or equivalent qualification.
Registered with SAIPA/SAICA or relevant accounting governing body.
5 years of practical working experience in the accounting environment.
Advanced working knowledge of accounting processes.
Fully computer literate.
Advanced working experience with Sage Pastel-Partner Accounting.
Working experience with Draftworx working paper software and preparation of working paper files for audit.
Own transport essential (valid SA license and own vehicle).
Must be able to work towards deadlines and flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Must be able to work as part of a team and under pressure.
Must be able to be responsible for the processing of junior staff.
Must be clear and objective to meet goals and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
