Job Summary: Quality Assurance Lead
Lead a team of Quality Assurance Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
Liaise with stakeholders to build a network that aligns with company goals.
Deliver automated testing solutions and quality practices within agreed timelines and risk parameters.
Provide advice to clients on quality practices and build deep relationships with peers and stakeholders.
Build a deep understanding of the domain to contribute to the ongoing value proposition.
Work closely with Quality Assurance Leads, Practise Leads, Developers, Product Owner, and other stakeholders to meet client expectations.
Participate in PI planning and squad deliverables, including capacity estimation and interdependencies.
Obtain and review relevant artefacts from stakeholders, create the Test Strategy, and ensure alignment to squad objectives.
Contribute to the systematic breakdown of business needs into manageable features, stories, and epics.
Ensure all committed user stories and acceptance criteria are tested for the specific release.
Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning, daily stand-up, and issue management.
Encourage collaboration across squads, ensure automation governance, and perform pull requests.
Review test automation solutions for architectural and development standards.
Challenging business and technology solutions in alignment with client value proposition.
Ensure integration into and continuous test automation execution on DevOps pipelines.
Work with the Enterprise Quality Assurance Practise Lead on metrics and reporting.
Ensure defect management process adherence and artefact storage in the repository.
Participate in retrospective reviews and seek efficiencies for quicker delivery with high quality.
Encourage peer reviews of QA artefacts and understand own demand based on expected timelines.
Collaborate with peers and industry experts to understand technical advances and its application.
Seek ongoing improvements in technical capabilities and ensure alignment of solution with emerging technologies.
Mentor Engineers within the team to improve their technical capabilities.
Provide input into documentation of standards & quality practices for Quality engineering.
Provide input into performance management of team members.
Ensure team dynamics are healthy and support the achievement of business strategy, objectives, and values.
Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes to improve functioning of stakeholders' businesses.
Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models, and systems through agile thinking.
Requirements
Completed IT / BSc degree or other related fields.
7 – 10 years experience as QA Lead or Test Analyst.
Good working knowledge of Front End and API automation as well as Performance Testing (NFT).
Tools include Selenium/Appium/Healenium, RestAssured and JMeter.
