Qa Assistant Supervisor

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Food Tech/Biotech/Food & Nutrition or Analytical Chemistry
2-3 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality System (FSSC 22000)
Act as the Food Safety Team Coordinator
Coordinate Supplier Quality Assurance activities
Oversee activities and follow-ups for Validation and Verification of the food safety system
Assist with external audits from certification bodies and customer auditors
Coordinate Mock recalls and Traceability exercises
Prepare and coordinate the Annual Management Review
Participate in the HACCP plan review
Oversee the company's internal and GMP audit program
Conduct in-house training on company policies, procedures, and basic GMPs
Handle and trend consumer complaints, CARs, concessions, NCRs, and monthly quality assurance analysis
Raise nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure close-out
Monitor CCP/OPRPs verifications
Interpret test results, compare them to specifications, escalate issues, and make data release recommendations
Serve as a technical liaison between quality and other departments, customers, and suppliers
Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions
Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors
Write technical reports such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses
Coordinate certifications (e.g., Halaal, Kosher)
