PURPOSE OF ROLE To provide: Technical Governance and Support
This role provides technical expertise and support to Management, focusing on strategic initiatives, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to advise and guide Management on technical matters.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business including construction delivery, proposals, procurement, and business services.Participate in Supply Chain management processes.Preparation and execution of PQPs and PMPs on all Nuclear projects.Incorporation of industry standard requirements such as NQA-1 requirements into Lesedi's IMS.Executing the internal audit program increasing transparency, effectiveness and efficiency of QM audits to create a business impact.Ensures professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting of all business units.Drives quality improvement methods and improve process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, FMEA).Provide continuous management and support to all projects.QUALIFICATION Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or equivalent with professional registrationQualified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 7 years in EPC industry as QA Advisor.Experience in RCA methodologies will be advantageous.Track record of training and implementing company strategies successfully.KNOWLEDGE & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Knowledge: Understanding of ISO 9001 principles, RD-0034 and ASME NQA1-.Understanding of ISO 19011 principlesUnderstanding of basic principles of Engineering / Procurement / Construction and Project Management.Understanding of project management principles – PMBOK, Contract management & Planning.Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat is essential.Proven proficiency in recognized Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement and construction industryKnowledge of the nuclear industry, particularly the applicable industry standards, codes, regulations and practices would be advantageous.Skills: Strategic thinking.Computer Literate (Word, Excel)Computer Systems (IFS, Primavera, MS Projects, Project Management Collaboration Platforms)Be able to communicate clearly.Be technically competent.Behaviours/Personal Attributes: Displays technical, interpersonal and conceptual skillsConceptual thinkingVisionaryCollaborativeStakeholder managementForesightMethodicalHealth & Safety advocacyPerformance-driven
