Internal SalesPromote the sales of Pumps and auxiliary equipment in the following industries:Construction, industrial, mining, sewage, municipal and original equipment markets.Handle telephonic enquiries on new pumps and spares as and when required.Processing all aspects of quotations.Following up on quotations submitted.Understanding and interpreting tenders.Preparing presentations.Preparing design data for consultants.Assisting with technical queries.Maintaining & updating customer list.External SalesVisiting existing customers, sorting out any problems, bringing them up to speed with the latest developments, probing for future business, soliciting new business, and improving/developing customer relations.Setting up appointments for new customers and prospective customers.Visiting customers in African countries may require a few weeks of traveling every year.Doing one-on-one presentations to customers using sales tools provided.Doing budget quotations for consultants and assisting them with product specifications.Conducting training for key customers.Providing technical & commercial solutions to customers and consultants.Setting up and conducting site or in-house demonstrations.Promoting Engineered systems.Design / EngineeringHydraulic design of Pump stations.Selecting the correct pump for the job.Altering pump configurations to suit customer's needs.Calculating system head curves and superimposing performance curves (Pumps in series and parallel).Selecting electric motors, diesel, and petrol engines for the proposed pumpset.Selecting suitable coupling drives.TendersAdhering to all commercial and technical details pertaining to tenders ensuring all equipment offered is to specifications.Completing technical data sheets.Preparation of tender submissions to contractors.Costing up of projects/tenders.Tender negotiations with contractors and consultants.Commissioning of pumpsets on site.Troubleshooting.Following up on tender submissions.Processing of orders as and when required.Compiling job files.
