Provincial Manager: Limpopo Province (Polokwane)
(Permanent position)
Oxford University Press is looking for a Provincial Manager to plan, implement, and monitor sales activities in the respective Province to increase sales and market share. To build, lead and champion an effective and efficient sales team to overachieve and on all agreed budgets within the ethos prescribed by OUP's brand promise.
The Provincial Manager will be reporting to the National Education Manager. This post is based in Limpopo.
Principal Accountabilities:

Grow Sales and market share through targeted sales activities.
Expand adoptions of front list and backlist titles.
Develop and implement a Teacher Workshop Plan for the region.
Collaborate and build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
Effective data management.
Manage budgets effectively by forecasting annual capital and operational expenses and developing cost control mechanisms.
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage team performance, provide guidance, and support, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

5 to 10 years sales experience.
A minimum of 5 years management experience.
Relevant National Diploma in Sales, Marketing or Education.
Strong business and commercial acumen.
Experience in formulating and executing winning strategies.
Strong negotiation skills and problem solving.
Able to maintain and foster high level business relationships.
Demonstrate capacity to work across functional areas to deliver results.
Ability to manage and provide leadership to staff.
Experience in publishing environment including both print and digital.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
Business development experience.
Experience in data analytics and CRM.
