Job Summary:The Proposal Specialist is a key player in supporting the business development efforts of the investment management firm.
This role involves collaborating closely with business development teams, investment teams, and various stakeholders to create high-quality proposal materials that align with the company's growth targets.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end project management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), capability documents, and presentation processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the companys internal systems, teams, products, and processes to effectively inform proposal content.Ensure that information databases are accurate, complete, and maintained regularly.Manage the review processes for all submissions to uphold quality standards.Adhere to JSE compliance requirements and support the Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, including Exchange Rules and Directives.Required Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a technical support role with exposure to RFPs and DDQs.A keen interest in financial markets and investments across various asset classes.Proven project management and excellent writing skills.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Commerce (Finance, Economics, or a related field).Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Key Competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.Strong teamwork commitment and a willingness to assist colleagues.Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic and client-centric approach.Capability to guide teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Why This Role?This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the firm's growth by supporting sales teams and fostering the development of team members, ultimately playing a critical role in the organization's success.
