Project Manager OperationsAPS Group leads the way in Creative & Marketing Execution Services since 1961. Together, we make more possible!Overview of the RoleAs a Project Manager Operations you will be part of a small team of specialists who play an important role in realizing our service delivery for a constantly growing international marketing client portfolio. Typical projects are: implementing new clients, performing (pre)discoveries on client processes, implementing IT solutions (based on our inhouse marketing software suite), internal optimization projects (OPEX), and change management projects.Our organization provides marketing services to a wide range of clients, from major retailers to international B2B companies. You will work from our Amsterdam office as part of the EU Project Assurance Team in close collaboration with our International Project Solutions, Best Practices and IT Business Alignment teams. The role requires knowledge of project management methods and tools, an affinity for marketing processes, strong analytical skills, and a process-oriented mindset. Additionally, you will coordinate and organize project administration for the team and play a role in coordinating broader program activities under the direction of the European Management Team.The Project Manager assures timely delivery of agreed milestones within a project. APS applies a formalized project process, partly founded on a Prince II approach, yet also applying agile methodology. ResponsibilitiesTaking full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of projects.Providing effective leadership to the project team (if any). Adopting appropriate project management methods and tools. Managing the change control process and assessing and managing risks. Ensuring that realistic project plans are maintained and delivering regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.Ensuring project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted by the appropriate stakeholders.Monitoring costs, times, quality and resources used and taking action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.Initiating and executing internal improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Supporting the team in identifying and exploring new business opportunities and potential clients.Coordinating and managing the project administration for the team, including maintaining project documentation, reports, and budgets.Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and manage expectations.Actively collaborating with colleague teams in the UK and with the Group Project Solutions Director.RequirementsExperience: 2-3 years of experience in a project role with knowledge and/or experience in marketing processes within organizations. Business savvy – understanding and applying commercial motives.Project Management Knowledge: knowledge or certification of project management methods and tools (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP, Lean six sigma).Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Process Thinking: Experience in process optimization and a structured approach to problem-solving.Marketing (IT) Solutions: Affinity and/or experience with work in a Marketing / Agency environment and its IT solutions, preferably on the Supplier side.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English. Any additional language is a pre.Organizational Ability: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
