Job Title: Safety OfficerSeeking an experienced Safety Officer to work for a well-known food manufacturer to travel between Delmas and Springs sites. This is a project of 3-6 months.Responsibilities:Implement systemsAct as Trusted Advisor (use of machines, spillages, noise, security)Conduct emergency response drillsConduct safety inspections and risk assessmentsLead monthly safety meetingsIssue permits to workProvide awareness trainingFacilitate toolbox talksMust Have:Grade 12National diploma - safety management / NEBOSH or relevant SAMTRAC certificateIncident investigation / permit to work / risk assessment / fall protection plan / construction regulations / COIDA / OHSACTMinimum of 3 years' experience in safetySemi-factory environment knowledge and construction, health, risk security knowledgeExcellent English communicationAble to work independentlyResults drivenInfluencerEthicalComputer literate (MS Office)Have own reliable vehicleWilling to work overtimeGreat track record and clear criminal record
