Project Planner

Job Title: Project Planner Location: Botswana, Jwaneng  Job Type: 36 month contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Mining Job Duties: Develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate software Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues Prepare reports on project status, budget, and resource allocation Assist in the development of project plans and budgets Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Planner or similar role Knowledge of project management principles and techniques Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work well in a team environment Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning or project management Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in project management software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively Attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience in the mining industry Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar software Working Conditions: Office-based role with occasional site visits required Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Potential for overtime hours during project peaks Collaboration with diverse project teams and stakeholders
