We adhere to international best practice and codes of ethics and comply with the ISO 9001 – 2015 Quality Management SystemQualifications & experience:Diploma or Degree in Project Management Certification in MS Project Management advantageousStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeRegistered as professional with one of the professional bodies in built environmentMore than 7 years' experience in Roads construction projects/built environment as a project managerMust be able to manage financial budgetsProven track record in managing large scale construction projects/built environment in different disciplinesA Project Management professional registration is an advantageous. (e.g. with SACPCMP, PMI)Key job responsibilities:Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to facilitate technical feasibilityDevelop detailed / specific long and short-term project plans, including setting milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetTrack progress of all project plans and advise / drive the team to achieve required outcomesManage the delegation of project -related tasks to the teamEnsure appropriate resource availability and allocationCoordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projectsManage audit and compliance queries from stake holders and Client departmentsOversee the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and Environmental Act and any recommendations from audits carried out within the project environment;Ensure timeously, effective communication and adequate reportingFacilitate and co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, including professional service providers (consultants), contractors, sub-contractors and labour;Personal attributes & Skills:Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multiple task managementCapability to create and manage project plans in systems Problem identification and resolution experienceStrong numeracy, verbal & written communication skillsTime management skillsAbility to work in a pressurized environmentTeam player and collaborationWe look forward to receiving your application!
