Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of mechanical projects, from design and procurement to installation and commissioning.Oversee the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of mechanical systems and equipment for mining or mineral processing operations.Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure successful project execution.Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.Provide technical expertise and support for the mechanical aspects of mining operations, focusing on improving system efficiency and reliability.Coordinate with stakeholders and communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of experience in mechanical project management within the mining or mineral processing industries.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mechanical projects from inception to completion.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in mining or mineral processing.Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.Apply now!
