Join a leading EPC contractor specializing in engineered solutions for the water and wastewater treatment industry as a Project Manager, based in Durban (KZN).
The successful candidate will oversee the coordination, execution, and delivery of water and sewage treatment plant projects.
This role includes planning, design, implementation, and commissioning to ensure timely project completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with all technical and regulatory standards.
The Project Manager will also be responsible for stakeholder management, resource allocation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of project management experience in water treatment or a related field.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.Willing to travel for workKnowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies and the mechanical and electrical equipment associated with them.Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and costs effectively.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with South African environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Client-focused service deliveryStrong planning and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good medical health.Valid driver's License and own vehicleMay require travel to various project sites.Regular visits to construction sites, water treatment facilities, or offices of contractors or regulatory authorities.May require work outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
