Project Coordinator - Logistics Industry

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their team in the logistics industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment.
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, and reports.
Track project progress and identify potential issues or delays, escalating them as necessary.
Prepare regular status reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.
Assist in resource allocation and management.
Ensure projects comply with company standards and methodologies.

Requirements:

Relevant degree in Project Management or Commerce-related field.
3 years experience in Project Management within a Logistics/Container depot and Warehousing environment.
Proven experience in managing small to large-scale projects.
Experience working with all levels of management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and have a quick turnaround time.
Capable of capturing and consolidating large volumes of administration.
Good Negotiation Skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong financial acumen.
Flexibility in working hours and times may be required.
Proficient with Microsoft Projects, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Sound knowledge of working with Microsoft Teams.
