The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background in project management and a proven track record of successfully managing projects within budget and on schedule.
This role is crucial in ensuring that project objectives are met, stakeholders are satisfied, and risks are effectively managed.
Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budget.
Assemble and lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities while ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Track project progress against established KPIs, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing circumstances.
Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and upper management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future steps.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedur Monitor project expenses, ensuring adherence to the budget while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a Project Management module/course or an NQF level 7 qualification in Project Management.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
