Project Manager (Fibre/Subsea)

Our client, a leader in the Telecommunication industry, is currently looking for a Project Manager to be based in Fourways.This role oversees planning, implementing, and executing individual projects and groups of related company projects in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits and control.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage groups of network projects as directed.Manage virtual project teams including members from Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance.Create, obtain approval, and manage project charters, plans, risk registers, budgets, and lessons learnt.Project manage client orders from feasibility, pre-sales solution design, sales order signature to handover, achieving high levels of client satisfaction.Desired Experience & QualificationPMP/PRINCE2 certification or equivalent.5 years technical experience in the telecom industry.3 years in a project management role.Must use B/OSS tools; experience with Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of technology used in fibre networks including Subsea, OTN, DWDM, SDH and Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP) preferred.Must have a good understanding of Subsea and Long-haul core fibre networks.Interested?Apply / Send CV to: ****** Subject Line: Project Manager (Fibre/Subsea)
