PROJECT DIRECTOR – AFRICA
DESCRIPTION
French & English Fluency is Essential for this role.
Project Director with a clear track record of Heavy Civil Engineering Major Projects such as Bridges, Tunnels, Airports, Dams, Highways & Energy Projects. Ideally worked for a European Main Contractor.
Focus: Building an asset which will provide energy to the country that they will benefit from hugely. The forms of civil engineering that will bring in some of the most world class techniques.
We need this business leader to have delivered Major Projects, so they get the full support & respect of the client, project managers and the team.
This person will report into the Board and have direct responsibility for a team of 60-85 Permanent Staff handling a €205 Million Project. The challenging aspects within the project come from the volume of concrete, design interfaces and remote location.
We are looking for someone who will see out the project which will be a minimum for three years.
European Client
You will have full Profit & Loss experience on a project. Capable to client face, manage external consultants and designers whilst driving your team to the finish line. This role needs a collaborative approach and soft skills to win over and influence stakeholders.

CANDIDATS RETENUS

· 15-20 Years Post Graduate Experience
· Degree Civil Engineering
· Fluent in English & French
· Clear record of Major Civil Engineering Projects
· Strong communication skills
· Clear experience at this level for a Tier 1 International Contractor
· Prior Africa Experience Desired
· Commercially aware with extensive FIDIC experience

Candidates must have a clear track record at the level we are after for reputable Tier 1's.
