Overview: As a Programme Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives for major clients, such as leading banks and retailers, directly impacting their success. You'll manage complex programmes, ensuring they meet both customer expectations and our client's goals. Working closely with teams across sales, engineering, product, and support, you'll drive seamless execution and successful outcomes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building lasting client relationships, guiding teams through challenges, and delivering high-quality results that align with long-term goals. What you will be doing: Lead key programme decisions, balancing technical, financial, and business needs to drive optimal outcomes. Oversee multiple interconnected projects in banking and payments, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. Proactively identify risks and manage project dependencies to keep everything on track. Ensure high-quality standards are met across all projects while delivering within scope and budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, third-party providers, and internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve programme goals and deliver successful outcomes. Facilitate high-level governance meetings, such as steering committees and retrospectives. Continuously improve processes to enhance programme delivery and efficiency. Be the customer advocate, ensuring programme objectives align with their needs and feedback. Stay informed on the latest trends in banking, payments, and fintech to drive innovation. Manage complex, multi-project programmes from start to finish, ensuring a smooth handover from sales to delivery. Take ownership of timelines, budget, and scope, while managing stakeholder expectations to deliver long-term value. Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery. What you need: A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial. Prince2, PMP, or Agile certifications are advantageous. 7 years of experience in project/programme management, including large-scale software initiatives. Proven track record managing complex, multi-project programmes with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide teams through challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, managing both technical and business relationships. Deep knowledge of programme management methodologies (Prince2, PMP, Agile). Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management and conflict resolution. Ability to drive strategic decisions, balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. Experience in Financial Services, Payments, or Fintech industries.
