The main purpose of this position is to establish, implement and manage an integrated controls framework discipline for strategic cross-functional programmes to ensure proactive risk mitigation and governance compliance in support of successful programme delivery.Detailed DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:Develop an end-to-end internal, cross-functional, programme controls framework comprising security-, technology-, financial-, risk-, data- and information controls, onsite and offsite, internal and external to the organisation.Provide training and support to relevant stakeholders on the content of the framework, use and application thereof, in order to facilitate compliance.Work closely with the organisation's control functions (e.g. Internal Audit and Risk Management and Compliance Department) to ensure alignment and compliance with relevant policies and standards.Monitor compliance to the controls framework, identify gaps and develop corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Identify, analyse and prioritise programme risks, agree on and track implementation of mitigating actions with relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate compliance and control at all levels of the Programme.Actively stay abreast of and contribute to the development of best practices, methods, procedures on programme controls management.Lead the continuous improvement of the control framework through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Provide consolidated, integrated reports on programme control information for management information and decision making.Coordinate financial management, procurement and contracting activities to ensure alignment with programme controls processes and overall programme objectives.Oversee the integration between risk management & compliance department and other specialised risk areas.Job RequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:a minimum of a B degree (NQF 7) in Commerce or equivalent;a minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in a complex programme controls environment;exposure to the project environment with a good understanding of contracts, risk and financial management in the Bank; andfinancial Management qualification will be an added advantage.Additional Requirements include:quality assurance knowledge and skill;continuous improvement knowledge and skill;project management knowledge and skill;project legislation and governance, risk and compliance knowledge and skill;project performance management knowledge and skill.Desired Skills:identify gaps and develop corrective actions;
