Professional Construction Manager

Our client, a leading South African engineering consultancy, is seeking a skilled Professional Construction Manager to oversee water abstraction and pipeline projects in Johannesburg.
Youll manage key infrastructure works.
If you're ready to lead impactful water infrastructure projects and work with a dynamic team, this is the role for you Requirements · Between 10 and 20 years of experience in construction management and as a Resident Engineer.
· Professional registration with ECSA and/or SACPCMP · Proven experience in managing FIDIC-based construction projects.
· A solid technical foundation in water infrastructure construction engineering.
Duties include but are not limited to: · Lead and oversee the entire construction process for water abstraction weir and pipeline projects, managing all phases from initiation through to final handover.
· Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure that risks related to claims are effectively managed, and any potential disputes are resolved swiftly and amicably.
· Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and project managers to ensure that projects are designed with practical construction requirements in mind, ensuring safe and efficient implementation.
