Production Manager

Leading Truck and Trailer Manufacturer in the heavy engineering & automotive industry requires a Production Manager for their facility based in Phoenix, Durban.

Duties & Responsibilities:-

• Supervise staff (approximately 120 staff).
• Comply with OSHA safety and ISO 9001 Quality System.
• Production planning and material forecasting.
• Meet promised delivery dates and monthly output targets.
• Maintain and improve 5S standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects in the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications and Experience Required:-

• Experience in the heavy engineering or motor industry
• Good numerical, communication and computer skills.
• Experience with performance management
• Proven track record of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality systems
• Suitable production and or technical qualification
• 5 yrs + Production management experience
