Production Manager (Chocolate / Candy) – Nelspruit.
A well-established production company is hiring a Production Manager. This is a newly created position, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Production Manager.
The candidate must be situated in Nelspruit or/ in the Malelane areas.
Package: R25,000 – R35,000 per month
Requirements:

5 years' experience in a production facility
Must have chocolate / candy industry experience
Project management skills
Managing a team
Product costing and new product development project costs
Food safety experience
Xero accounting system experience
Valid code B driver's license

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and organizing production schedules
Analysis production schedules, input, output and efficiency
Assessing project and resource requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Assisting with the implementation of quality control standards
Overseeing production processes
Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Liaising and negotiations with buyers
Liaising with sales staff and order forecasting
Supervising and managing the work of the facility
Organizing relevant training sessions
Status reports including raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
Liaising with teams for transport / dispatch
Management of the export process
