General Areas Of ResponsibilityResponsible for all technical aspects of a product/project from the conceptualization phase to implementationProduct development detail execution (Systems engineering role) on allocated products in conjunction with engineering teamResponsible for planning and coordination of project development, implementation and integration activitiesEnsure all contract requirements are adhered toCompilation of project schedulesIdentification of project milestones, internally and according to contractIdentification of project risks and evaluation alternativesUpdate project plan as project progressProject progress reportingLiaise with suppliers and sub-contractors in terms of timely deliveriesLiaise with client in terms of project scope, progress and slippagesAdministration of contracts, including the administration regarding permitsPersonal Attributes And Skills RequiredGood communication abilitiesTeam playerGood Time Management (estimating, scheduling, etc.)Management of project team and sub-ordinatesPlanning and organization abilitiesUses good judgement and takes initiative Qualifications And ExperienceDegree: B Eng. or BSc Electronics EngineeringMinimum of 5 years' experience in a development environment+ 3 years specialized experience in a Hardware and software environmentComprehensive knowledge of the System Engineering and Product Development processPreference to experience in complex development / implementation of projects
