  Join the iK Tribe as our next? Product Portfolio Manager ?and play a crucial role in managing key product streams!
This is your chance to contribute to our dynamic fintech environment, focusing on core areas like In-Person Payments, Pay-Outs, App Ecosystem, and Pre-Paid Services.  So, what will you do?
  As a Product Portfolio Manager at iKhokha, you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
You will lead a team of 4 Product Managers, each overseeing cross-functional teams dedicated to specific streams.
Your role involves managing these product lines through their entire lifecycle, from conception to delivery.    Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design Leaders to define and execute the product vision and strategy.  Your mission?
To deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that propel our business forward and enhance the user experience.    In addition to the above, you will: ?  Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities.  Define and prioritize product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.  Prioritise features and create user stories based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.   Work closely with Design Leaders to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that align with user needs and business objectives.   Work hand-in-hand with Engineers and Designers to ensure timely, successful product development and launch.  Define and prioritize product backlogs, working closely with Engineering teams during sprint planning and execution.   Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure product quality before launch.   Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate based on user insights and metrics.   Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, partners, and merchants.   Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.   Gather feedback and incorporate stakeholder input into product planning and decision-making.   Conduct demos, workshops, and training sessions to promote product understanding and adoption.   Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategic direction for the product portfolio.   Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.   Drive successful execution of product strategies to achieve market differentiation and competitive advantage.  Collaborate with executives and senior leadership to align product strategies with business objectives.   Alignment of product vision and strategy with business objectives.   Successful execution of product strategies to drive business growth.   Market differentiation and competitive advantage.   Feedback and satisfaction from executives and senior leadership.   Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    Deal Breakers:?  6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of leading other Product Managers across a portfolio or group, ideally in the Fintech or Payments industry.  A deep understanding of payment systems, financial technology, and industry regulations is essential for this role.  You'll need expertise in managing the entire product lifecycle, including product discovery, development, and successful launch.  Proficiency in managing the four key risks in product development—Value Risk (will customers buy it?
), Usability Risk (will customers use it?
), Feasibility Risk (can we build it?
), and Viability Risk (will it work for our business?
)—is critical.  A strong grasp of technology, software development processes, and agile methodologies is required, along with the ability to work closely with Engineers to drive product development.  A user-centric mindset is vital, with the ability to deeply understand user needs, conduct market research, and translate insights into valuable product features and enhancements.  Proven leadership skills are necessary to guide cross-functional teams, including Engineers and Design Leaders, towards shared product goals.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.  You'll need a deep understanding of the Fintech/Payments industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
In addition to the above, the following experience and business understanding will make you a frontrunner for the role:?  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.   Ability to align product strategies with business objectives.   A solid understanding of how to prioritize outcomes over output is important, and prior OKR experience would be beneficial.  A deep understanding of financial technology (fintech) solutions and payment systems, including knowledge of different payment methods, transaction processes, and security protocols.  Familiarity with customer needs and pain points within the financial services industry is important, including an understanding of consumer behavior, preferences, and expectations.  Awareness of emerging technologies and innovations in the Fintech/Payments space, such as blockchain, digital wallets, mobile payments, and alternative payment methods.  A strong understanding of business models and revenue streams within the Fintech/Payments sector, including knowledge of monetization strategies, partnerships, and value propositions.  The ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify market opportunities and drive product innovation.  Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to financial transactions and data privacy, ensuring products adhere to industry standards and guidelines.  Additional Information Perks of joining the Tribe Work in a high-growth company with tangible results you're accountable for.  Enjoy hybrid,?remote, and in office?work?models.  Competitive remuneration and benefits, including reduced Gap cover rates.
