We are looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst who will be a vital link between our Information Technology (IT) capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical assessment, building, testing, and deployment tasks of our suite of software products and associated feature sets.You will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and Business functions using data analytics and other known methods to assess processes, determine business and user requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to management and stakeholders as well as ensure the proper implementation and upkeep of our suite of information system solutions.Responsibilities:Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements.Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.Engaging with business leaders and super users to understand how improvements to processes, products, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.Articulating ideas while balancing them against what's technologically feasible, financially viable, and functionally reasonable.Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.Performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.Working closely with clients, technicians, product managers, development teams, and other managerial staff.Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, the IT team(s), and users.Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.Delivering QC and training documentation.Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs.Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to ensure the product delivers unique value.Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across internal teams and external stakeholders.Measuring and analysing product performance and using data to guide future product development.Managing product-related support, feedback, and inquiries from users.Business Analyst Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Industrial Engineering or related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Advanced technical skills.Excellent documentation skills.Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.Skills needed:Oral and written communication skills.Interpersonal and consultative skills.Inquisitive - have the ability to ask the right questions to get a proper understanding of the user requirement.Facilitation skills.Analytical thinking and problem solving.Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.Organizational skills.Knowledge of business structure.Stakeholder analysis.Processes modelling.Understanding of networks, databases and other technology.Development skills in business intelligence tools like PowerBI, QLIK, Tableau.Knowledge of software development tools like JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket or similar.
