Product Compliance ManagerOur client, an Electronic company, is currently recruiting a knowledgeable and experienced Product Compliance Manager to join their team in the East Rand (Johannesburg).Duties & ResponsibilitiesManaging all product complianceAssisting with product development managers on all product queriesProduct compliance researchProviding Quality AssuranceFollowing up on customer-related issuesEngaging with other teams within SMD to assist with compliance issuesWorking independently and collaboratively by using resources, policies, and proceduresRegulatory certification based on product category - ICASA, NRCS, and SAHPRARegulatory certification based on product categories out of South Africa such as Botswana and AustraliaRetrospective compliance action and preventive compliance action, i.e. preventing incorrect information from being printed on Product/PackagingDisputes arising from Compliance Actions and PenaltiesCreating and managing product codes on internal systemsAd hoc tasksDesired Experience & Qualification3 – 5 years experience working in a similar roleRelevant tertiary qualificationAdvanced MS ExcelGood understanding of electronic productsExperience working with regulatory bodiesExperience with Product certificationExperience with standards published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), European Standards (EN)
