A renowned international messaging company is looking for a "Product Manager: Digital Platforms" to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in either Cape Town or Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical background to drive the execution and success of our digital product offering.
Your expertise in understanding different customer segments and building products and UX that offer an indispensable value proposition will be critical in order to build a sustainable revenue generating customer base.
Requirements:
5 – 8 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on digital channels
An unwavering passion for digital products and a commitment to making a positive impact on users' financial, social and digital lives
A deep understanding of native mobile app development, with proficiency in both iOS and Android platforms, staying up to date with mobile app trends and best practices
Experience building products iteratively by applying lean principles and focusing on MVPs
A hands-on mentality, from idea generation to UX prototyping to user story and design, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of the product development process
Strong understanding of financial levers and customer behaviours that enables enhanced profitability
Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the direction of our mobile app platform
Shaping the future of our iOS and Android native mobile app, driving innovation and user experience improvements
Develop a deep understanding of user needs through customer data ensuring that our mobile app aligns with user and revenue expectations.
Create outstanding UI and UX, ensuring that our mobile app delivers a seamless and engaging user experience
Coordinate mobile app priorities, timelines, dependencies, and implementations by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
Closely align with other product verticals within the business to deliver key customer benefits through the app
Responsible for key product metrics: app downloads, use, ratings.
Analyze product usage and customer feedback to improve the product
Support the engineering build-out of the product
Overseeing and contributing to user documentation and training; outbound marketing; product support, and handling support escalations; including quality assurance and release management
Identify innovation opportunities that offer the maximum commercial potential and the highest propensity to increase or change prescribing consumer behavior
