About our client: Our client is a leading payments company dedicated to transforming the payment landscape by providing a risk-free and empowering payment solution.
Their payment solution aims to alleviate debt burdens, enabling shoppers to pay as they earn, free from the threat of accumulating charges.
You will be working on the latest tech with ample opportunity for additional training and growth in a flexible environment.
What you will be doing: Shape the product's future by translating long-term vision into a dynamic feature roadmap, aligning it closely with merchant needs and priorities.
Engage directly with merchants and stakeholders to gather valuable insights on product messaging, value propositions, and upcoming features, ensuring everything reflects what our client's merchants truly need.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and continued satisfaction for merchants, helping them get the most out of the product.
Break down the roadmap into manageable sprint-level tasks, prioritising those that offer the most value to merchants while deferring less urgent items to future sprints.
Ensure that functional design tasks are completed with a strong focus on addressing merchant challenges, all while keeping the product aligned and cohesive.
Keep merchants in the loop by tracking progress against release plans, monitoring key metrics, and producing clear, detailed release notes on new features and updates.
Participate in strategic workshops and engage regularly with merchants, gathering their feedback to keep the product evolving in line with their ever-changing needs.
What you will need: A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong focus on merchant-facing roles.
Extensive background in the fintech sector, understanding the unique challenges and requirements faced by merchants.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-native technologies and architecture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with merchants.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, particularly in a merchant-focused environment.
