Business Analyst – Life Insurance Products Role Purpose: Our Client is seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join their dynamic Product Team.
This role acts as a crucial link between actuarial product requirements and IT development, ensuring seamless maintenance and development of IT solutions that support their life insurance products.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of life insurance products and processes.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret product and business requirements.
Translate complex actuarial product needs into clear and actionable specifications for IT and other impacted teams.
Document and present requirements using established frameworks and best practices.
Ensure the quality delivery of requirements through validation, testing, and stakeholder approval at all development stages.
Participate in the solution design process and recommend innovative, sustainable solutions to complex problems.
Oversee and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions align with business needs.
Manage and prioritize change requests, ensuring timely resolution of queries and updates.
Leverage scenario testing and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
Stay updated on legislative, IT, and industry trends to enhance service offerings and reduce risks.
Contribute to a client-centric culture by driving exceptional service delivery and fostering rewarding relationships.

Qualifications and Experience: Relevant degree in a related field.
3+ years of experience in a Business Analysis or Product Team role within the Life Insurance or Reinsurance sector.
Deep knowledge of Life Insurance products, processes, and product rules, including premium rates, values calculations, and investment structures.
Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills.
Strong background in financial and statistical mathematics.
Business analysis or actuarial specialization is preferred.
