Procurement Officer

A well-established company based in Germiston is seeking a Procurement Officer.Duties:Sourcing Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, or contractors, including conducting market research to find the best options in terms of quality and cost.Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)5-10 years experience in a similar roleDoes not need to come from a specific industryProven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of procurement software and tools.Familiarity with supply chain processes and best practices.Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement.Experience with e-procurement systems and software.Strong project management skills.Multilingual proficiency for dealing with international suppliers.Will be reporting to the head of procurement.Computer Literacy:MS Office (Excel, Outlook)Syspro
