Buyer And Junior Procurement Officer

Position overview:Assist Senior Buyers / Procurement Officers with procurement and ordering of quality products at the best price to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable growth for the company.
Requirements:Diploma in Purchasing, Procurement or a relevant qualification (advantageous)5 years working experience within a procurement or buying environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Duties:Receive requests from customers, ensuring proper understanding of their requirements Source suppliers and obtain multiple quotations from possible suppliers Negotiate prices with approved suppliers to ensure procurement of products at the best priceProvide formal quotations to customers Follow up with clients and Senior Buyers on purchasing Place orders with approved suppliers, following prescribed procedure and complete Purchase Order Confirm orders with supplier to expedite delivery Hand the order over to logisticsKeep client and Senior Buyer / Procurement Officer updated Manager stakeholder relationships as well as credibility Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, legislation and quality standards Maintain confidentiality
