PROCUREMENT MANAGER / SUPPLY CHAIN – EAST LONDONThe successful Candidate for this role will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities for our clients quick-service restaurant chain, ensuring optimal inventory levels, cost effective sourcing, and maintaining quality standards for both food and non-food items.Key Attributes:The ability to speak, read & write English fluentlyNumerical and statistical skills preferredComputer literacyPlanning / organisingIdentify consumer behaviourTime ManagementAbility to work under pressureMaintain strong relations with key suppliers and negotiate contracts with themProblem solvingNegotiationMinimum Requirements:Bachelors' degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management OR relevant fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in procurement or salesExperience in QSR / FMCG beneficialProven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationshipsResponsibilities:Food & Beverage Procurement:Manage relationships with food and beverage suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricesMonitor market trends and commodity prices to optimize purchasing decisionsEnsure all food and beverage items meet company quality standards and food safety regulationsCoordinate with menu development team to source ingredients for new menu itemsNon-Food Items Procurement:Oversee procurement of operational supplies including:Restaurant uniforms and employee attireCleaning supplies and chemicalsPaper products and packaging materialsOffice supplies and stationeryKitchen equipment and maintenance suppliesInventory Management:Coordinate with Supply Chain teams, centrally and in market, to forecast demand and adjust ordering accordinglyVendor Management:Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, delivery reliability, and serviceMaintain a diverse supplier base to ensure supply chain resilienceConduct regular vendor performance reviewsResolve any supplier-related issues promptlyCost Control & Reporting:Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savingsPrepare regular reports on procurement metrics and KPIsMonitor and control budget for all purchasing activitiesImplement cost-saving initiatives without compromising qualityRisk Management:Identify and assess potential risks associated with procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuationsDevelop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuitySalary: Market related based on experienceApplication Process:
