Procurement Consultant

The incumbent will manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods (non-stock, stock and capital) and services from suppliers based on an approved purchase requisition and in line with the procurement policy and procedures.

Main Responsibilities Procure non-stock, stock and services in accordance with the procurement policy and procedures.Procure non-stock, stock and services of the right quality and quantity at the best prices, and contribute to cost saving and continuation of production.Establish and maintain vendor (supplier) database to ensure accurate and complete information is available on the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Maintain good internal customer relations to ensure that long outstanding purchase orders are being followed up.Administer purchase orders to ensure that all supporting documentation are maintained for all purchase orders.Perform ad-hoc functions as assigned to ensure timeous completion of ad-hoc tasks assigned. Qualifications & Experience National Diploma in Supply Chain or ProcurementDegree in Supply Chain or Procurement (advantageous)3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management environment.
