Weare dedicated to delivering top-quality products and services to our clients, and we are looking for ahighly motivated and skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies and guidelines.Maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing stock levels.Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.Collaborating with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met.Handling international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.Conducting cost analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Efficiently managing administrative tasks related to procurement processes.Regular reporting and communication with relevant stakeholders.Desired Experience & QualificationQualification Requirements:Matriculation Certificate: The candidate should possess a Matriculation (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent.Procurement Qualification: A recognized qualification or certification in procurement or supply chain management is required.Code 9 Driver's License: A valid Code 9 (Code B) driver's license is essential for this role as occasional travel may be required.Experience:Procurement and Sourcing: Previous exposure to procurement and sourcing processes within a similar industry is preferred.Stock Control: Demonstrated experience in stock control and inventory management.Supplier Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.Strong Administrative Skills: Exceptional administrative skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.International Shipping, Freight Forwarding, and Clearing: Familiarity with international logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes is a plus.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Independence: The candidate should be self-driven, able to work independently, and demonstrate initiative in their work.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
