Wastewater Process LeadA dynamic and growing Water & Wastewater Treatment company with offices in Cape Town is looking for a Wastewater Process Lead.Minimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree of Engineering (B.Eng) – or equivalent in Process Engineering (Chemical Engineering).A Masters in Water Quality Engineering will be advantageous.Minimum 4 Years' Experience in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Products and Services offered by the Company. Focused on Wastewater design and implementation.Understanding of Water and Wastewater Treatment Products and Services offered by the Company;A general understanding of Water and Wastewater Treatment Products and Services and ancillary technologies, products and methodologies in industry;Computer literate in Microsoft Suite and appropriate training in Process Design software;A practical and theoretical understanding of wastewater configuration and treatment strategies which includes conventional activated systems.P&ID analysis capability, Setting up mass balances for PFDs, Process Troubleshooting, Water and/or Wastewater Design, Project Management, Quality Focus, Critical Analysis of information, Reporting Research Results, Attention to Detail, Mentorship ability.Your Responsibilities:Project development and/or management;Assist with Proposals;Evaluating engineering processes and treatment strategies based on research and application of existing knowledge;Develop process solutions by studying customer requirements;Process design improvements based on operator/engineering feedback regarding existing installation;Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and compiling information and trends;Provides detailed engineering information as required;Oversight and mentoring process graduates within their respective roles;Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies where relevant;Contributes to teamwork by communicating your ideas and design approach as well as completing assigned tasks;
