In this role, you will support the business unit in the documentation, analysis, improvement, and redesign of core and support business processes from current state assessments to post-implementation support in order to deliver an improvement in efficiency, high levels of standardization, and straight-through processing with defined exception management.
Are you someone who can: Quantify the problem statement by liaising with stakeholders and Business SMEsConduct a quick 'dipstick' test to test the business problem assumptions if there is available dataApply Lean Six Sigma defined phase analysis by:Define process flow and value streamsMeasure process performanceQuantify business case by conducting a Value Stream / Pain Point Analysis together with initial in-depth analysis to validate the business problemDefine charter by using the Lean / Six Sigma methodologyWork through the Lean Six Sigma phases:Measure the Business Problem by defining Y and critical Xs, measuring variation and calculating sigma value and defect rate to derive the Hypotheses to be testedImprove the Business Process by designing and implementing the solution through:Conduct Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) training for line managersIdentify RIE's using Lean methodGain an understanding of BU/FA KPIs by identifying and analysing the metrics that measure the business processDefine and map processes required and establish appropriate process KPIsConduct in-depth process analysis ensuring that work instructions in the applicable process tool (ARIS, Nimbus) are includedBuild and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a BCom Information Systems/Statistics/Mathematics, BEng Chem/Mech/Ind. or BSc Information SystemsCompleted a Six Sigma Green/Black Belt CertificationHave a minimum of 6 years working experience at Process Practitioner levelHave experience in identifying and running large value (minimum R20 million) Continuous Improvement projectsHave previous Investment Banking experienceKnowledge of Global Markets Trading productsYou will have access to: Opportunities to collaborate and create innovative solutions for our clientsWork in a dynamic team and hone your Investment Banking knowledge and skillsWe can be a match if you are: Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn moreObsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do and are constantly pushing yourself to do itAre you interested to take the step?
