ResponsibilitiesMonitor & adjust gauges and instrumentsRecord changes in utilities & raw materials on log sheetsOperate a section of a process plantEnsure safety, health & hygieneStart machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and product qualityReport machinery and equipment faultsPerform regular maintenance by identifying and correcting minor errors in the equipment and cleaning on laser sorting equipmentProgram and optimize laser sorting processesQualificationsGrade 12, or Equivalent Qualification2-5 years production/maintenance experience in FMCG environmentExperience in food processing and packagingHealth and safety standardsEffective communication within technical contextsProblem solvingFirst line maintenance will be advantageousPepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act.
