To design, build and identify opportunities for innovation within the BCB Merchant Solutions Function through digital solutions that continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency, ensuring the customer needs are met. To deliver and execute all BCB Merchant Solutions optimisation, automation, Robotic Desktop Automation and Intelligent Automation projects and initiatives in order to realise the digitisation objectives of the organisation.
ResponsibilitiesAct as the Technology expert and actively participate and contribute to business process design and re-engineering workshops within BCB Merchant Solutions in order to provide specialist input from a technology perspective.Assess the value of digital solutions through conducting benefits analysis calculations and present it at the appropriate forums.Build upon technical skills within own area of specialisation in order to continually grow personal contribution to the business.Contribute to process improvement sessions such as problem-solving sessions. Evaluate operations and develop proposals for new / improved processes and procedures.Design, build and provide daily support of innovation through digital solutions that continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency.Design, build and test digital solutions within the BCB Merchant Solutions Function to ensure alignment with business needs and expectations.Document digital solutions to ensure adherence to minimum standards and governance.Implement RES digital solutions and automation projects according to the approved project management principles, standard and methodologies to ensure mitigation of risks and adherence to governance.Participate in the implementation of new processes and business support solutions in the BCB Merchant Solutions environment, ensuring that all new processes are integrated with existing processes and provide the required support to employees across RES to enable speedy adoption of the new processes.Perform testing with users and operational teams to ensure the digital solutions are effective.Provide insights, suggestions and recommendations regarding digital solutions to support decision making and ensure customer and operational needs are met.QualificationsFirst Degree: Business Commerce/Information Technology
Experience: 6-8 years
The role requires an experienced leader with proven automation capability and profound knowledge within the card payments ecosystem. To maintain, enhance automation disciplines and methodologies using Astrex as a transaction generator processing ISO8583 EMV payment messages. Developing functional scenario matrix, automated regression test packs coupled with stress testing applied across the SLDC would be essential for POS, ATM and Mobile Payments EMV contact and contactless transactions.
