Process And Formulation Lead

RPO Recruitment is currently working with a reputable FMCG company based in Paarl to find a talented Process and Formulation Lead. As a recruitment specialist, we are dedicated to finding the best candidates to support our client's growth and success. In this role, you will be responsible for leading process development and formulation activities for the company's product line.ResponsibilitiesTesting recipes in the development laboratory with the aim to reduce costs and raw material usageIndependent recipe testing and carrying out of trialsImplementation and adaptation of new recipesCreation and maintenance of product-specific master data in the IT system (SAP)Reducing the complexity of recipes by reducing the number of raw materialsRaw material selection/optimization based on cost optimization & avoiding sourcing constraintsPhysical, chemical and visual testing of developments/applicationsProduct stability and shelf life testingLiaise with Production on adjusted formulations and assisting with handoversLiaise with Sales team involved as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldPrior experience (5+ years) in process development and formulation in the FMCG industryStrong knowledge of formulation techniques and process optimizationExperience in product scale-up and transfer to productionExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsKnowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standardsExperience with formulation software and tools is a plusBenefitsContact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.Salary: negotiableOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experienceApply for this role today, contact Yusrah Farouk at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedInYou can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: ****** will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
