FAIS AffectedJob PurposeTo actively contribute to the NFP strategy and business objectives, revenue generation and growth, mandate implementation, team development, management and client relationship building to generate sustainable revenue streams for WMSA.
Job ResponsibilitiesMentor, supervise and coach Financial Planners to ensure their growth and development aligned to regulatory and business requirements.Identify training courses and career progression for self and team through input and feedback from management and personal observation.Ensure all personal and team development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.Build talent pipelines of Financial Planners to ensure growth and manage resource risks.Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interactions.Ensure compliance with internal processes through developing an understanding of internal procedures.Manage and track individual and team performance according to set metrics and targets for Financial Planners.Supervise and ensure the development of people resources.Ensure that all admin related responsibilities are addressed timely.Support the achievement of business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit policies.Build trusted relationships both internally and externally through quality outputs and strong communication skills.Ensure timely resolutions for stakeholders by addressing client and advice related queries.Ensure that advice provided on behalf of WMSA is accurate and aligned to legislative and Nedbank requirements.Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.Maintain existing client relationships by enhancing the relationship.Participate in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).Support corporate responsibility initiatives for business strategy achievement.Job Responsibilities ContinueSeek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying effective ways to operate and add value to Nedbank.Contribute towards successful revenue generation through cross-selling and pricing solutions as an active team member and leader.Ensure accuracy and validity of client information by interrogating assumptions and commerciality of information provided.Maintain competency through keeping up to date with industry trends and legislation.Ensure effective time management by managing turnaround times.Maintain effective oral and written communication.Focus on innovative client solutions and problem solving by showing initiative and creative thinking.Build skills and talent pipeline through effective team management to manage people risks.Ensure regulatory compliance, including market conduct, governance and legal.Essential QualificationsMatric / Grade 12 / National Senior CertificateProfessional Qualifications / Honour's DegreeRelevant RE1 and 5 and Key Individual qualifications (CAT 1) and CFP (or working towards)Essential CertificationsFAIS Qualification Regulatory Examinations 1 QualificationMinimum Experience Level5-8 years relevant Financial Planning industry knowledge.
