The RoleThe main purpose of this role will be to assist the members of the Life/Health Finance Team in all aspects of data handling and analysis work with the key focus on improving, developing, and automating processes and creating robust solutions around data management challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesIndividual and group premium administrationFollow up and monitoring of outstanding dataClaims administrationPreparation and loading of claims into internally developed SQL-based systemCreation of authorized claims batch paymentsEnsuring all claims are appropriately authorizedFollow up on outstanding claimsPerforming claims account reconciliationsAttend to client queriesAssist claims and other internal departmentsProvide input and ideas for the improvement of team processes, focusing on automationStreamline processes to ensure efficiencies while providing high-quality and consistent service to all clientsAd hoc tasks and reporting as requiredRequired Skills and ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualificationExcellent Excel skillsRelevant degree or diplomaKnowledge and understanding of administration processesExcellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailBasic financial understandingWillingness to learn internally developed systemsAbility to work in a methodical and systematic wayStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong numerical and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage with clientsAbility to work with minimum supervisionAbility to prioritize while remaining flexible to changing work demandsComfortable working in a high-performance environment
