We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Sandton.
ONLY Commercial CE colleagues are eligible to apply
We will count on you to:

Responsible for managing the overall regional portfolio from a performance perspective i.e.
renewal increases, organic growth, retention strategy and overall client service
Responsible for regional Commercial sales strategy and budget
Responsible for implementation of the growth strategy of Affinity Schemes and Commercial within the region
Ensure operational efficiency through implementation of the approved T.O.M
Collaborate with the C&C Manco to deliver on C&C targets and objectives
Identify opportunities for the region through effective internal and external collaboration
Responsible for determining renewal increases for the regional commercial book
Ensure that all renewals are done timeously by the Regional Portfolio Client Executives
Manage, support, train, coach and motivate Regional Portfolio Client Executives
Set annual budgets and manage Region within these budgets
Responsible for financial reporting (budget and forecasting)
Expanded Business: Participate effectively in cross selling / upselling initiatives to assist the C&C Division to meet expanded sales targets and retention of clients
Develop retentions strategy to ensure effective retention of clients by Regional Portfolio Client Executives
Ensure that the Regional Portfolio Client Executives adhere to escalation and complaints SLAs
Foster sound working relationships with other functional business units, Insurers, administrators and Sales
Adhere to all Marsh compliance policies, business practices and training requirements

What you need to have:

Minimum 1-3 years management experience
Minimum 5-10 years' appropriate experience in the commercial client service environment
Minimum 2 years' experience in Specialist markets e.g.
Specialist liabilities, Marine etc.
Relevant insurance qualification e.g.
ACII / HCII or Fellowship
A 3-year degree is preferable
Must have RE 5, and CPD as per FAIS requirement
Must be FAIS compliant with relevant commercial FAIS Credits as per DOFA
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Mathematical and computer literacy (MS Office, specifically strong Excel and PowerPoint skills)
Proven Technical understanding of classes in mid-market insurance environment i.e.
Personal Lines, Commercial, Specialist and Affinity Insurance Solutions
Minimum 3 years Commercial Insurance Brokerage experience
Must have a valid driver's licence and a car
