Job Summary: The Point of Sales Counter Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter by providing product information, processing transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a customer-oriented individual with strong product knowledge and an ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, providing product recommendations and support. Process sales transactions, including handling cash, card, and digital payments accurately. Manage inventory levels at the counter and restock shelves as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized counter area to ensure a welcoming environment. Handle customer inquiries, provide solutions, and escalate issues as needed. Collaborate with the sales team to meet store sales goals. Track customer orders and ensure timely order fulfillment. Operate the POS system, including price scanning, returns, and exchanges. Requirements: Experience: 1-2 years of counter sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred. Skills: Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems, strong communication and customer service skills. Attributes: Friendly, customer-focused, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move products as needed.
