These jobs were popular with other job seekers Our client in the building / manufacturing industry has a position available for a Plant Manager Salary: Highly Negotiable Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Production / Engineering 10+ Years' experience in Production Management Stamping Plant experience – up to 400 ton presses Sound industrial relations experience Quality Management and Continuous improvement experience Duties Manage, plant and direct Stamping and Steel Production, Warehouse, Maintenance Toolroom of the plant Drive project objectives for each department. Coordinate And Drive Atomisation Improvements And Maintenance Activities Including Capital And Non Capital Project Prepare and execute Capex requests Implement basic PLC and sensor systems Monitor objective achievement by performing regular reviews. Conduct advance quality planning exercises by analysing customer business requirements Company business processes to meet supplier specifications and customer demands Report on budget utilisation – Monthly in month end report Take responsibility for manufacturing activities, ensuring that the customer requirements & quality standards are met timeously & cost effectively. Ensure health, safety, security and plant maintenance regulations are adhered to Develop & maintain quality procedures & guidelines. Carrying out regular performance appraisals. Manage industrial relations. Set and ensure that operational targets are met Ensure the supply of material & human resources.
