A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant General Manager to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities Direct and manage the Smelter Business Unit Develop and implement short- and long-term planning to enable production Ensure that the furnaces, pelletiser and chrome recovery plant are available and reliable to produce products in line with the corporate objectives of the company regarding volume, quality, and unit costs Facilitate continuous improvement and operational excellence to improve availability, utilisation, safety performance, unit costs, and enable performance management and development of the smelter teams Requirements Grade 12 Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering 10 – 12 years' experience in a smelter mining environment Minimum 5 years as Plant Manager / 3.1a appointment Benefits Salary: R2.8M/yr - R3M/yr, negotiable Training & Development Family Leave If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to ******.
