OverviewJob Title: Plant Engineer – Mining Industry – LimpopoLocation: Limpopo, South AfricaHire Resolve's client is seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Engineer to join their mining operations in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, specifically within the mining industry, and possess the skills necessary to oversee the maintenance and operation of our plant equipment.Responsibilities:Develop and implement maintenance plans for plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant equipment to identify and address any issues or maintenance requirements.Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.Implement best practices for equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and effective operation of the plant.Monitor and report on the performance of plant equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement.Ensure SHEQ compliance throughout the area of responsibilityRequirements:National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.GCC Mines and WorksMDP or equivalent will be advantageousMinimum of 10 years of experience in plant engineering, preferably within the mining industry.Proven experience in managing maintenance programs for plant equipment.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industry.Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.Benefits:Salary: R1mil-R1.3mil per yearFamily Responsibility Leave (if applicable)
