Plant Accountant

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports and providing actionable insights.
This role is a dual-based role where traveling to different branches will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:Cost analysisBudgeting and forecastingFinancial reporting: Weekly cost reports, weekly cash up, balance sheet preparationData management: Update financial models, database and reportsCompliance and control: Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial polices and regulationsStrategic support: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions making and business initiativesContinuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial reporting and analysisStatutory reporting: VAT reviews and reporting, and provisional tax forecast compilation and submission Skills and Qualifications:BCom HonoursArticles (SAICA or SAIPA)Manufacturing exposure is essentialManagement experience is required
