Our ClientOur client is a global (EPC) company specializing in hydropower and renewable energy ventures worldwide. They boast a portfolio of over 3GW in installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity. Their current undertaking is a 240MW solar PV project scheduled to commence in May, situated in the Free State region.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare baseline schedule using P6 or MS Project as a tool and take approval from the client and internal processes.Generate comprehensive project reports and distribute them to relevant project stakeholders.Monitor and track project progress, preparing detailed reports to communicate project status effectively.Attend meetings and schedule appointments as required to facilitate project coordination and collaboration.Develop various report formats, dashboards, and presentations to deliver project reports to the project team.Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and coordinate project reporting objectives.Preparation of as-built, recovery, and revised schedules.Review and enhance subcontractor reports, providing constructive feedback to improve their quality and presentation.Support Client Leaders by providing necessary information for updates with business partners.Maintain the Project Management Information System (PMIS) to ensure accurate and timely report generation.Coordinate project documentation governance in line with company and client requirements, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.Desired Experience & QualificationRequirements for this role:3 to 4 years of experience in Planning and Reporting within the construction industry - preferably in renewable energy.Technical and Behavioral competencies:In-depth knowledge of best practices for data management.Proficient understanding of data relationships and querying techniques.Ability to automate and streamline data collection, conversion, and querying processes.Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.Hands-on experience with Primavera and MS Office is essential.Proficiency in writing reports, manuals, procedures, and articles, adapting to different target audiences.
