Department: Logistics (BP55300)Job OverviewUD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. This Position reports directly to the Logistics Team Leader and will be responsible for most Picking and Packing Operations including Line feeding.Responsibilities And DutiesExecute work according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)Perform quick Kaizen'sPerform material handling activities such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labelling operations and sortingMove materials using a forklift and bin systemReport defective materials or material shortage to the Team leaderEnsure that the work area and all equipment are always clean and in an orderly conditionFollow and comply with all safety regulationsCarry out instructions as required from the Team leaderBreakdown of emballages/pallets for recyclingComply with company policies and legal guidelinesInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesExperience:Exposure to an assembly plantJob Requirements:Good verbal and written skillsEffective Communication SkillsBasic Mathematical SkillsBasic Visualization and Observation SkillsHandling of toolsValid Forklift LicencesComputer LiterateMinimum QualificationsGrade 12 Minimum with MathematicsComponent Manufacturing or Logistics LearnershipAny other Auto Industry related Learnership or qualificationAbout UD TrucksPart of the Isuzu group, UD Trucks is a global leading international commercial vehicle solutions provider headquartered in Japan.
