Pick & Place Machine Operator

Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pick & Place Machine Operator to join our production team. As an Electronic Pick & Place Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining automated pick & place machines, ensuring the precise placement of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). You will play a critical role in the production process, contributing to the high-quality standards that our customers expect.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate pick & place machines according to production schedules.Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Load and replenish components on the machine feeders as needed.Inspect PCBs for proper component placement and alignment.Hand solder leaded components and cables onto assembled boards.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.Document production activities and report any issues to supervisors.Minimum Requirements:High school certificate or equivalent.Experience operating pick & place machines in an electronics manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Experience hand soldering electronic components is highly desirable.Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Basic understanding of electronics and PCB assembly processes.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required.
